Through the NetPlus® recycling program, discarded nets are sourced directly from fishing communities before they can damage marine ecosystems. Why We Use It
Fishing net pollution is a global problem that requires greater management and infrastructure. It’s widely considered one of the most harmful forms of ocean plastic pollution.
NetPlus® supports cleaner coastal and marine ecosystems, and the material is 100% traceable, meaning that discarded nets are tracked from their original source through to the recycled NetPlus® material.
Replacing virgin nylon with NetPlus® in our shorts and boardshorts was a no-brainer for us.

The material properties of NetPlus® mirror those of virgin nylon, meaning there is no sacrifice in durability, performance, or longevity when using NetPlus® as the base material in our men’s boardshorts and selected women's shorts.
